Los 3 Golpes is the name of a beloved Dominican dish, and for us, it’s the flavor of bachata. A little bolero for the romance, a touch of merengue for the pride, and a shot of dembow for the street vibe. Together they cook up the bachata we live and teach: tasty, real, and straight from the culture.

Our Classes
No rush, no shortcuts
We start with Fundamentals, because while it’s easy to underestimate the basics at first, they become more important the further your dancing develops.
Step by step
Each level adds new complexity, which is why we combine classes — Fundamentals with Tranquis, then Tranquis with Con Sabor — so you can take the next step only when you feel truly ready.
In 8 weeks
Each course runs in 8-week cycles where you learn from both teaching couples: we begin and end all together, with three weeks guided by one couple and three weeks by the other. Different styles, one shared journey.
Repetition means growth
Repeating a level never means standing still; every round shifts the focus with new rhythms, concepts, and perspectives that deepen what you already know.
Personal guidance
With small groups and direct feedback, we guide you at your own pace, making sure you grow into the dancer you want to be.

our team
We are Los 3 Golpes: four dancers shaped by years of practice, travel, and connection through bachata. What started as shared moments on the dance floor grew into a collective with one vision: to teach bachata with depth, respect, and joy.
Every step we take in class is built on experience, learning from each other and from the music, exploring the culture that created this dance.
Nyota’s journey began in 2016 with her first trip to the Dominican Republic – a place that felt like home from the start. For her, bachata is freedom and sentimiento and she enjoys a Sunday teteo together with friends.
John & NИshi story began on a dance floor in Antwerp in 2013. What started as a simple dance soon became a partnership in life and in bachata.
Since 2016, they have deepened that passion through festivals, travels, and time in the Dominican Republic.
These experiences that shaped not only how they dance, but how they teach. Meeting Nyota and Jordy sealed the friendship that grew into Los3Golpes. For John and Nushi, bachata is connection, joy, and a way of living together through dance.
Jordy discovered dance in 2016. Salsa was the beginning, but bachata quickly became home. Since then, festivals, parties, and countless nights of music have shaped his path.
For him, bachata is connection, freedom, and the simple joy of living in the moment.
